Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how the Application (an iOS app intended for users aged 6 and older) collects, uses, and protects your information. The Application is developed and operated by an individual (the "Developer") in a personal capacity with no affiliated company or legal entity. By using the Application, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting your privacy, especially for our younger users, and complying with applicable child privacy laws and App Store guidelines.
Information We Collect
1. Information You Provide: This includes any information that you directly provide when using the Application. For example, when you interact with the chat or image generation features, you input text prompts or messages; we collect and store these inputs. If the Application allows you to create an account or user profile, we collect any details you provide for that (such as a username). Additionally, if you contact us directly (for instance, by email for support or feedback), we will collect the information you provide in that communication.
2. Usage Data: This is information collected automatically about your use of the Application. It may include technical details and usage statistics such as your device type and model, operating system version, app settings, the pages or features you use, the time and duration of your activities, and diagnostic data like crash reports. We use this data to understand how the Application is used and to improve its performance and reliability. This information is generally collected in a way that does not directly identify you.
3. Third-Party Services Data: For certain features, the Application relies on third-party services (described below). When you use these features, some data may be shared with or received from those third-party services. For example, if you ask a question or request an image through the app, your input is sent to an external AI service which processes the request and returns a result. Similarly, if we store information using cloud services, that data may pass through those external systems. We treat any data obtained from third-party services with the same care as data you provide directly to us.
We do not collect any sensitive personal information such as home address, phone number, or payment information.
How We Use Your Information

Third-Party Services
- OpenAI API (ChatGPT & DALL·E): The Application integrates OpenAI's API to provide chat and image generation features. When you use these features, your prompts and inputs are sent to OpenAI's servers to generate responses or images. OpenAI may process and temporarily store this data for content generation and moderation according to their policies. We do not share any information beyond what is necessary for your request (typically just the content of your prompt). However, any data handled by OpenAI is subject to OpenAI’s own privacy and data practices.
- Google Sheets (Google Cloud Storage): We use Google Cloud services (such as Google Sheets or other Google storage solutions) to store and manage certain data from the Application (for example, chat logs or user progress data). This means that some of your information may be transmitted to and stored on Google’s servers. Google, as our service provider, keeps this data secure and confidential in accordance with their standards. We only store what is necessary and ensure that any personal data in Google's services is protected and used solely for the purposes described in this policy.
Data Retention
- Account Information: If the Application offers user accounts, we keep your account details for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion, we will remove or anonymize this information, except where we must retain it for legal reasons.
- Chat and Image History: We may keep a history of your past chat conversations and generated images to enhance your experience (for example, allowing you to revisit past chats or creations). This history is retained until it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected or you choose to delete it (if such an option is provided). We will periodically clear old entries to limit the amount of data stored.
- Query Logs for Features: The Application may log certain actions or queries (for instance, to monitor feature usage or performance). These logs help us improve features and troubleshoot issues. Such logs are generally kept for a limited duration and do not contain more personal data than necessary.
- Backend Logs: Our systems automatically record technical logs when the Application interacts with our servers or third-party services. These backend logs (which may include information like timestamps, service responses, and device identifiers or IP addresses) are kept primarily for debugging and security monitoring. They are typically retained for a short period and then purged on a rolling basis.
- Compliance Retention: In some cases, we may need to retain certain data for longer periods to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. Any data retained for such purposes will be limited to what is strictly necessary and will be deleted once it is no longer required.
Data Security
- Secure Transmission: We use encryption (HTTPS/TLS) to protect data transmitted between your device and our Application or servers, so that your information is not easily intercepted during transfer.
- Access Controls: Access to personal data is restricted to the Developer and any authorized personnel who need it to operate or maintain the service. Appropriate authentication and permissions are in place to prevent unauthorized access.
- Minimization: We follow data minimization principles, collecting only the data that we need to provide the service. We also limit how long we keep personal information, as described in the Data Retention section, and regularly delete data that we no longer require.
- Monitoring and Logging: We monitor our systems for potential vulnerabilities and security issues. We maintain logs of system activity and access, which helps us detect and respond to any irregularities or unauthorized access attempts.
Children’s Privacy
Protecting the privacy of children is especially important to us. The Application is intended for children ages 6 and up, and we strive to comply with all applicable child privacy laws (such as the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, where applicable) and App Store requirements. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you are under 13, please do not provide any personal information. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under 13 without proper consent, we will promptly delete that information. We encourage parents and guardians to supervise their children's use of the Application and to teach their children about safe internet practices.
Privacy Policy — Additions
Voice Data
When users interact with our voice assistant, we temporarily record the user’s voice and securely transmit the audio file through our server hosted on Render. We do not store or retain the audio recordings. The audio data is forwarded to OpenAI Whisper for transcription and response generation. The sole purpose of this process is to enable the voice-based interaction within the app.
Data Sharing and Security
Voice recordings are transmitted securely and are not stored by Kids Flamba AI. Audio data is processed only by trusted third-party services (such as OpenAI Whisper) for transcription purposes.
Geographic Availability
Availability is limited to countries not subject to international sanctions, export controls, or trade restrictions applicable to Israel, the United States, or the European Union.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data. We will respect and, where possible, assist you in exercising the rights applicable to you, which can include:
- Access and Correction: You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you and to request corrections of any inaccuracies.
- Deletion (“Right to Erasure”): You can request that we delete the personal data we have collected about you.
- Consent Withdrawal: You have the right to withdraw consent at any time.
- Objection or Restriction: You may object to certain types of processing or request restriction under specific conditions.
- Portability: You have the right to request data transfer in a machine-readable format.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make any material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. Your continued use of the Application after any changes to this Privacy Policy will signify your acceptance of the updated terms.
